LEVY DYKEMA is looking for a furniture-focused interior designer or someone with 5 years’ experience in commercial furniture selection and procurement to join our Austin office. We’re looking for people who are ambitious and passionate about how furniture makes the design; people who live and breathe FF&E and are excited to teach others all about it.

In this role, you will be exposed to a variety of tasks, including:
- Researching products and compiling a furniture library by function and project type
- Maintaining a vendor database & physical/digital furniture resource library
- Writing furniture specifications and developing procurement timelines
- Negotiating pricing and placing holds for orders
- Coordinating orders, shipping, warehousing, and final delivery
- Working with vendors to plan installation, overseeing installs, and creating furniture punch lists
- Assisting with final accessory shopping and styling
- Have a professional degree in Interior Design, licensure preferred, or direct, transferable experience in procurement
- Have 5 years’ minimum professional experience, with a focus on amenity spaces and ancillary furniture procurement, as well as coordinating with furniture dealers.
- Are fluent in Studio Designer, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Are competent in Revit (experience with AutoCAD, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Lumion, and Enscape are all big pluses)
- Have excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Are great communicators
- Are excited to teach
