Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Business Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of commercial insurance products, enjoys working with business owners, and knows how to build relationships while generating new business.
What You'll Do
Quote, sell, and service commercial business insurance policies
Work with business owners to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Generate new commercial insurance business and follow up with leads
Work with insurance carriers and wholesalers to obtain competitive quotes
Review existing policies and identify coverage opportunities
Complete and review ACORD forms accurately for commercial insurance submissions
Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales and policy process
Maintain accurate client and policy records
Requirements
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required
Minimum 1 year of commercial business insurance experience
Working knowledge of ACORD forms and commercial insurance applications
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and opportunities
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and close opportunities
Professional, dependable, and motivated
Compensation
$25–$28 per hour, based on experience
Commission opportunities in addition to hourly pay
