We’re Hiring: Project Engineer – Land Development
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in land development engineering to join a growing civil engineering team in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey.
Experience Level: Mid-Senior - 5 years
Salary Range: $61,000 – $90,000
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare precise engineering drawings for land development projects
• Support surveyors and field teams with construction layouts
• Work on grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design projects
• Assist in converting raw land into usable development plots
• Collaborate with engineering and surveying teams throughout project phases
Required Skills & Experience:
✔ AutoCAD experience specifically in land development engineering
✔ Experience supporting surveyors and construction layout activities
✔ Knowledge of grading plans, utility layouts, drainage design, and road design
✔ Strong understanding of land development processes
✔ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred
Qualifications:
• Experience in Civil Engineering or Land Development projects
• Strong technical drafting and engineering design capabilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative on-site environment
