What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Tech IV position at Ai Signal Research Inc?
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Months/Years of Experience: Seven (7) years of applicable experience supporting engineering, design, or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or three (3) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and four (4) years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements: Instrumentation – Experience must include successful completion of sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in electronics/instrumentation supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Duties: Construct and test cables and wiring harnesses from drawings. Use drawings, general and special test equipment to test cables, wiring harnesses, populated printed circuit boards, receivers, and transmitters. Use drawings, general and special tools and test equipment to assemble, test, and troubleshoot TM/FTS kits. Integrate TM/FTS kits into missiles prior to test missions.
