Role Overview:
Dante Valve is seeking an experienced CAM Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in CAD (preferably Inventor) and CAM (Mastercam) and will collaborate daily with both engineering and manufacturing teams.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Create new CAM programs using Mastercam (milling and turning).
- Design hard CNC work-holding fixtures for milling operations (aluminum, steel).
- Design soft work-holding fixtures for secondary manufacturing processes and CMM measurement.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Produce 2D and/or 3D designs using CAD software.
- Incorporate manufacturing feedback into 3D model designs.
- Revise 2D drawings as requested.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate technical degree required; Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 5 years of experience using CAD software.
- Experience with Mastercam Mill 3D and single-spindle turning.
- Ability to analyze G-Code.
- CAD and 3D modeling experience (preferably Inventor).
- Work-holding design experience.
- CNC manufacturing experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong process orientation, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with 3D printing.
- Experience with measurement methods, including CMM machines.
- Mastercam 5-axis milling.
- Master Turning (dual-spindle).
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to handle ITAR, CUI, NNPI, and similar regulations.
