Role Overview:

Dante Valve is seeking an experienced CAM Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in CAD (preferably Inventor) and CAM (Mastercam) and will collaborate daily with both engineering and manufacturing teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create new CAM programs using Mastercam (milling and turning).
  • Design hard CNC work-holding fixtures for milling operations (aluminum, steel).
  • Design soft work-holding fixtures for secondary manufacturing processes and CMM measurement.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Produce 2D and/or 3D designs using CAD software.
  • Incorporate manufacturing feedback into 3D model designs.
  • Revise 2D drawings as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate technical degree required; Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • 5 years of experience using CAD software.
  • Experience with Mastercam Mill 3D and single-spindle turning.
  • Ability to analyze G-Code.
  • CAD and 3D modeling experience (preferably Inventor).
  • Work-holding design experience.
  • CNC manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong process orientation, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with 3D printing.
  • Experience with measurement methods, including CMM machines.
  • Mastercam 5-axis milling.
  • Master Turning (dual-spindle).

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to handle ITAR, CUI, NNPI, and similar regulations.
