What we seek:

We are looking for an energetic Product Builder to join our build team to build AI Startups. As founders and investors ourselves we are looking to add top new talent to our company building team. We welcome candidates who possess a growth mindset, strong analytical skills and ability to handle ambiguity. You will be responsible for driving projects forward until either they are falsified (and ended) or smoothly transitioned to a newly found company.

What you will do:

• Drive rapid engineering efforts to build full-stack applications using GenAI tools, enabling deep exploration of product ideas, user experiences, and technical feasibility
• Carry out ideation and early product validation: You will be responsible for working with our team to quickly validate or falsify specific ideas. This may involve exploring candidate business concepts, prototyping, and customer interview work
• Assist with bringing on FIRs (Founders in Residence): You will play an instrumental role in explaining the product and business idea to potential founders, helping them understand the potential of the product, and working to bring on a strong FIR to carry the product forward through a three month company Build Stage
• Collaborate closely with Founders-in-Residence (FIRs), Venture Advisors, and the Venture Studio team throughout the initial build phase to implement and iterate on the product vision
• Lead product development and coordination efforts, ensuring consistent progress and alignment during the Build Stage
• Conduct customer discovery calls to identify needs, validate hypotheses, and contribute to achieving product–market fit
• Maintain proactive and organized communication across internal and external stakeholders, including managing schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely updates
• Provide regular reports to the Venture Advisor and AI Fund team, highlighting key updates, risks, and opportunities, and escalating issues as needed
• Perform market and competitive research to inform product strategy and positioning
• Support the fundraising preparation process by contributing to financial models, pitch decks, and other investor materials as needed
• Assist FIRs and Venture Advisors with ad hoc strategic and operational requests to accelerate the venture’s success
• Gather user feedback and iterate quickly based on insights to improve usability and effectiveness
  
  

What you must bring:

• Experience in software engineering, including developing AI-powered applications
• Demonstrated experience building applications that incorporate Generative AI (such as LLM calls, RAG, Agentic workflows, evals, etc)
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, etc and understanding of best practices for effective use
• Ability to scrappily and quickly write disposable code for fast prototyping, and clean code for scalable products

• Experience gathering user feedback directly and iterating based on insights
• Exposure to rapid prototyping methodologies and shipping MVPs
• Interest or experience in product design and product thinking
• Contributions to open-source GenAI projects or tools
