What are the responsibilities and job description for the Developer Advocate position at AI Fund?
Mountain View, CA
Deeplearning AI – Marketing /
Full time /
Hybrid
AI is the new electricity—and at DeepLearning.AI, we're on a mission to put that power in people’s hands by empowering everyone to build with AI. As an education technology company, we're democratizing AI learning so anyone can build the future. We may be a small team, but we bring serious credentials, tackle exciting marketing challenges, and work alongside wonderful people who share our vision.
Want to use your developer skills to make an impact? AI is the new electricity. Millions of AI engineers are needed to transform industries with artificial intelligence, and we’re building an education platform to train them. Led by renowned AI researcher, entrepreneur, and educator Andrew Ng, DeepLearning.AI provides a world-class education to people around the globe to empower everyone to build with AI. We’re a small tech company with serious credentials, exciting marketing challenges, and wonderful teammates.
We are looking for a developer advocate whose mission aligns with skilling up developers (and non developers) in AI. The right candidate is passionate about AI and how it can be used to improve the human experience — from vibe coding to building agentic workflows that accomplish complex tasks autonomously. You are great at translating technical concepts into content and tooling that’s clear, engaging, and helpful. You can blend technical storytelling with content creation across blog posts, videos, livestreams, technical publications, open source projects, podcasts, events, and community platforms.
Whether it's open source users or enterprise customers, you’re here to help developers upskill, learn, and succeed with DeepLearning.AI’s courses and products.
This position reports to the Head of Marketing and should reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a hybrid role with three days a week from our Mountain View office.
You must already have, or be able to obtain, authorization to work in the United States.
Here’s what you’ll do:
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.

- We ask why: We ask the hard questions, and are open to being in the wrong. We advocate for the best ideas, not our ideas.
- We are honest and authentic: We are transparent as an organization, over-communicate to build trust and share our failures just as we do our successes.
- We do this together: We help each other grow and succeed and have fun at work, even in a remote environment.
