Job Duties
: An electrical engineer will be responsible for: lighting design; low and medium voltage power and distribution design; low voltage controls/system design; site investigations; adherence to required electrical codes, statutes, calculations or standards of design required for the successful completion of a project; reporting on project status/progress and budget; project specs and technical writing; and assisting on electrical design components of projects for other disciplines.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Special Requirements
One year (12 months) of work experience in electrical engineering. Prior work experience in facilities electrical systems design. Prior experience using AutoCAD in a professional setting. Prior knowledge of NEC and/or IESNA codes/standards.
