Summary:
Join our team as a Distribution Driver and play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to designated locations. Roles And Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, to transport goods to customers' locations.
- Load and unload merchandise manual heavy lifting.
- Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products while maintaining the quality of goods during transportation.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner during deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to guarantee the safety of both yourself and other road users.
- Keep delivery vehicles clean and well-maintained, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with meal production staff to ensure accurate picking and packing of orders for delivery.
- Maintain delivery and cleaning logs and documentation accurately for record-keeping purposes.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Physical Demands: Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading merchandise.
- Driving Skills: Ability to safely operate various types of delivery vehicles and a commitment to adhering to all traffic laws.
- Navigation: Proficient navigation skills using GPS and knowledge of local routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Customer Service: Strong communication skills with a focus on professionalism, courtesy, and representing the company well.
