Heavy Equipment Mechanic

A skilled Heavy Equipment Technician is required to diagnose, repair, and maintain specialized aerial lift equipment. The role includes both shop-based work and occasional field service assignments.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting experience in hydraulics, electrical systems, sensors, and electronic control systems.

· Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and electronic control systems

· Troubleshoot sensors, wiring, and CANBUS systems

· Perform preventative maintenance and annual inspections

· Complete work orders and service documentation accurately

· Support customers with technical issues in person and over the phone

· Move equipment within the facility or to customer sites when required

· Participate in occasional field service assignments after training

Experience in one or more of the following fields:

· Heavy Equipment

· Diesel Repair

· Automotive Repair

· Industrial Machinery

· Aviation Maintenance

· Field Service Repair

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license with a strong driving record

· Ability to lift 70 lbs

· Comfortable with physical shop work

· Comfortable using computers, tablets, and smartphone applications

· Strong troubleshooting skills

· Willingness to learn and grow

· Hydraulic troubleshooting experience

· Electrical diagnostics / wiring experience

· CANBUS or electronic control systems knowledge

· OSHA 10 certification

· DOT medical card

· Forklift certification

· Military mechanical training
