About the Opportunity

Seeking a Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician for the Fire Sprinkler Department. This role requires the ability to service, inspect, and repair sprinkler systems for established customers on a scheduled basis, with participation in an on-call rotation.

Job Duties

• Conduct service calls, performing onsite emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customer fire sprinkler systems, identifying code and nonconformance issues.

• Interpret and apply NFPA 25 codes during testing and inspections.

• NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems (preferred or willingness to obtain).

• Perform Fire Pump Flow Tests (preferred but not required).

• Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely service tickets and reports.

• Communicate with customers to explain work performed and necessary repairs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer points (minimum 3 years of licensed driving required).

• 2 years of experience inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems.

• Knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes.

• Comfortable working on ladders (6–12 ft) and lifts.

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs, and work overhead and in small/unusual spaces (attics, crawl spaces).

• Well-organized with ability to track service tickets and required documentation.

Compensation

• Hourly pay (negotiable based on experience).

• All hours worked between 6 pm and 5 am paid at time-and-a-half.

• 4-hour minimum at time-and-a-half for emergency service calls.

• 4-hour minimum at double time for emergency service calls on recognized holidays, plus 8 hours of holiday pay at regular rate.
