What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Dietitian (RD) - PRN position at AHS - Sherman Medical Center?
JOB SUMMARY: Provides appropriate patient nutritional care. Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness. Provides nutrition education to patients/families. Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population. PRN only.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Registered Dietitian required (CMS requirement).
2. Current Texas licensure required.
3. One year healthcare experience desirable.
