What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Machinist position at AHS-KY, INC.?
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC/manual lathes, mills, and other precision equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specs to produce high-tolerance parts.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform advanced fixturing, and optimize processes for efficiency/quality.
- Mentor junior machinists and collaborate with engineering/production teams.
- Conduct quality inspections and maintenance on machines/tools.
Requirements:
- 5 years of progressive machining experience (CNC preferred; manual a plus).
- Proficiency in G&M code, CAM software, HAAS/Fanuc/etc. controls.
- Strong math, blueprint reading, and metrology skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification/apprenticeship preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Total Compensation Package up to $90,000 (including base pay, benefits, and additional incentives).
