Currently seeking a Special Education ELA Teacher for the AHRC Middle/HS in Dyker Heights, BK.

Role Description:
- Full Time | Monday-Friday
- Hours: 8:00 A.M-3:00 P.M
- 10 month program with 30 day summer session
- Develop and implement individualized person-centered teaching plans.
- Provide general education Regents curriculum instruction in a special education high school.
- Prepares daily lesson plans, in advance and on an individual basis, geared towards the program participants’ learning style and level of academic functioning.
- Collaborate with other instructors when necessary.
- Providing program participants the opportunity for academic enrichment
through the improvement of English.
Qualifications
- BA or MA is Education/Special Education
- NYS Certification in English is required; Generalist Certification I Grade 7-12 is a plus. Salaries commensurate upon education attainments.
