Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated spaces, including floors, surfaces, and equipment, ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining cleanliness of common areas and personal spaces.
• Provide mentorship and positive guidance to individuals, fostering a supportive atmosphere.
• Support participants with daily activities, encouraging independence and personal growth.
• Collaborate with team members to develop engaging activities that promote well-being and community involvement.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and mentoring sessions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse populations.
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to mentor and support others.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation is preferred for mobility around different locations.
• Ability to pass background checks as required by the organization.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the community setting.
