Essential job responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and direction to the Fresh Sourcing Team.
- Provide tools, templates, and training to facilitate Ways of Working.
- Provide updates to Sourcing Lead and Category Teams on progress updates.
- Initiate and guide process for escalation.
- Accountable for identifying opportunities and supporting execution of opportunities to drive cross brand scale.
- Primary interfaces will be CM 1s/CM 2s.
- Responsible for oversight of the Central Fresh Kitchen processing facility and 3 rd party who operates the facility.
- Responsible to facilitate commercial plan development, category planning and negotiations, top to top materials, FMI, etc. for Fresh UPC
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 8 years relevant experience
- Proven experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives in a multi-brand retail environment
- Demonstrated success in complex supplier negotiations
- Expertise in syndicated data plaforms (Nielsen, Circana)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present to senior executives and external partners
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholders
- Deep understanding of retail category management principles, processes, and best practices
- Experience in Fresh Category Management preferred
