What:
The Analyst III HR Planning & Analytics provides planning, reporting, and analytical support for the HR organization. The role develops and maintains dashboards, performance reports, and analytical insights that track HR priorities, modernization initiatives, and operational health. This position plays a key role in connecting HR strategy to execution through clear measurement and interpretation.

Through structured data analysis, reporting discipline, and close partnership with HR stakeholders, this role supports annual and quarterly planning processes, prepares executive-ready materials, and monitors progress against goals. The role synthesizes data from multiple sources, interprets trends, and highlights implications for leaders, ensuring insights are accurate, timely, and actionable.

Supervision Given & Received:
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Operates under the direction of the Mgr II HR Modernization, with guidance on priorities and analytical standards. Collaborates closely with HR COEs, HR Operations, Finance, and Business Partners.
Primary Duties
Strategic Planning Support
• Support HR annual, quarterly, and ad hoc planning cycles, including goal setting, prioritization, and progress reviews.
• Prepare planning materials, summaries, and performance updates for HR leadership forums.
Reporting & Dashboards
• Develop and maintain HR dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports aligned to HR priorities and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity across reporting outputs.
Data Analysis & Interpretation
• Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate data into insights and implications that support leader decision-making.
Performance & Progress Tracking
• Track progress against HR goals, OKRs, and project milestones.
• Monitor adoption and early outcomes of HR initiatives in partnership with the HR Modernization team.
Executive-Ready Materials & Storytelling
• Contribute to executive presentations, narratives, and briefing materials by synthesizing data into clear, compelling insights.
• Support leadership communications with fact-based analysis.
Data Integration & Quality
• Pull and reconcile data from HR systems, surveys, and other sources.
• Maintain data definitions, assumptions, and documentation to support transparency and repeatability.
Benchmarking & Research
• Conduct internal and external benchmarking to contextualize HR performance and inform planning discussions.
• Summarize findings and implications for HR leaders.
Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data visualization, and insight generation.
• Support enhancements to HR measurement frameworks and analytics routines
Risk, Compliance & Quality
• Ensure analytics and reporting comply with data privacy, security, and governance standards.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and controls for HR reporting.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field required
Experience:
• 5-7 years of experience in HR analytics, workforce analytics, HR operations, or related analytical roles.
• Demonstrated experience developing reports, dashboards, and insights for leadership audiences.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience supporting strategic planning or performance management processes.
• Exposure to HR modernization, transformation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or large operational organizations.
Certifications (preferred):
• SHRM-CP • HR Analytics or Data Analytics certification
• Lean, Agile, or project management coursework
Other Requirements
• Travel: Limited travel (up to 10-20%) to corporate or operational sites as needed.
• Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional visits to operational environments.
• Physical Demands: Standard office activities with periodic walking in large facilities.
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to adjust hours during peak planning or reporting cycles.
