Home Dialysis Nurse (RN/LPN) – Private Duty (1:1 Client)

Location: Woodridge, IL
Our family is seeking a reliable, compassionate Dialysis RN to provide in-home dialysis coverage twice per week. Mon/Tues or Mon/Wed sessions are the priority for this permanent position. This role involves caring for one patient in a private home setting using a Tablo dialysis system.
We are flexible regarding treatment timings. Late mornings and early afternoons are preferred, but we’re flexible to work around the right nurse’s availability. Treatments every other day would be ideal, but we are flexible.
The home environment is organized, calm, and low-stress, with structured treatments and support available throughout the process.
Permanent Position Details
Days Needed: Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday (flexible)
Pay: $50 per hour
Start: ASAP
Training and Support
Paid hands-on training will be provided to ensure familiarity with the treatment routine and equipment. Support will be available through US Renal Care, including both technical support and clinical phone support during treatments. At least one adult family member will also be present in the home during treatment times.
Training Details
- 5–6 days of paid training, if needed
- Around 5 hours per day
- Our most recent hire was able to work independently after the second day
- US Renal Care may only offer weekday mornings or early afternoon training sessions, however, our primary RN would also be available to train, if needed, in order to better accommodate the new hire’s availability
Responsibilities
- Set up and monitor dialysis treatments using the Tablo dialysis system
- Monitor patient status throughout treatment
- Administer medications during dialysis, including Venofer and weekly EPO
- Follow the established treatment plan and safety protocols
- Perform monthly blood work if it falls during the coverage period
- Maintain a safe, professional, and supportive care environment

Qualifications
- Dialysis experience required (HHD experience is a plus)
- Tablo experience is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working in a private home setting

Compensation
- Compensation is $50 per hour
- Willing to pay by 1099, W2, or direct payment
