AHL HealthCare Group is hiring a temporary Licensed Assisted Living Director to oversee our Assisted Living Division. This is a temporary position with potential opportunities to grow into a permanent role! Nursing candidates encouraged to apply!
About our Assisted Living Division
Garden Terrace and Wesley Residence provide assisted living services to people needing personalized support and people who want to age with dignity and a full life. It is our mission to offer a warm assisted living setting with caring and educated staff where we provide personalized services and an exceptional standard of living.

Compensation:
- $60,000 - $80,00 annually
- Based on education, experience and RN certification (not required)
Location:
- This position will be required to travel among our Assisted Living facilities
- Duluth, MN 55807 AND
- Wrenshall, MN 55797
Hours of Position:
- Full-time
- Typical hours are Monday-Friday but some on-call is required
Typical Job Duties:
Please note if you are a nursing candidate, additional job duties not listed below will be expected that fall within typical nursing duties
- Market openings, conduct tours and screenings of new referrals
- Participate in state surveys and licensing audits
- Develop and implement all policies and procedures related to Assisted Living
- Prepares and participates in yearly screenings with resident's teams
- Assure building is in compliance with federal, state and local standards
- Monitor daily operations
- Assist with interviewing, supervision, training, performance evaluation and disciplinary action of employees
- Coordinates ongoing staff training
- Oversee daily documentation and charting
- Conduct bi-monthly staff meetings
- Review financial reports and follow up on any discrepancies
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) with the state of Minnesota
- Prior experience working in an Assisted Living setting
- Ability to pass a MN DHS background study
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write and speak English in a fluent manner
- Ability to communicate with clients in a variety of creative ways
- Must possess sight/hearing senses, or use of prosthetic services that will enable senses to function adequately
- Ability to make independent decisions based upon standard policies and procedures
- Reliability and flexibility are a must
