Hours of Position:
Flexible based on staff availability and client needs
Variable Hours Available:
Part-time
Compensation:
$20 per hour, based on experience
Role Overview:
As a BRIDGES Counselor, you will work 1:1 with adults with disabilities, providing a variety of essential services, including:
Independent living services
Self-care assistance
Communication skills development
Community living & mobility support
Reduction/elimination of maladaptive behaviors
Sensory/motor development
Socialization
Learning and improving independent living skills
What We're Looking For:
A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (preferred)
OR an Associate's Degree in a Social Services Discipline
OR two years (4,174 hours) of supervised experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors, co-occurring mental disorders, or neurocognitive disorders
A valid Driver's License, clean MVR, and auto insurance (personal vehicle required for client transport)
A working mobile device capable of calls and documentation apps
Strong decision-making skills, reliability, and flexibility
A positive mindset!
