About Us:
We’re a team of dedicated dog lovers. Our facility offers high-quality boutique daycare and boarding, group classes, and private lessons. Our daycare and boarding has a 1 to 5 ratio. We’re now looking for an enthusiastic Dog Training Apprentice to join our team and grow with us!
Position Overview:
As a supervisor, you’ll assist with daily care routines, advise staff on canine body language, and work closely with certified trainers to support a safe, engaging, and educational environment for every dog in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
> Supervise and manage playgroups while ensuring safety and positive interactions.
> Support the daily operations of the daycare and boarding including feeding, walking, cleaning, and grooming.
> Shadow trainers and assist in training sessions, observing handling and positive reinforcement techniques.
> Supervise 1 to 2 staff members on daily routines
> Demonstrate the fundamentals of positive dog training
> Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility.
Qualifications:
> A genuine love for dogs and interest in canine behavior and training.
> Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
> Ability to work in an active environment (you’ll get your steps in!).
> Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn new skills.
> Prior dog daycare experience is required
