Join our fast-paced, compassionate team at a Substance Use Disorder treatment center offering detox and residential care. What You’ll Do:
You’ll be called on to show up fully present and respond with grounded, in-the-moment interventions, such as:
- Teaching box breathing during acute anxiety
- Holding space for emotional expression without judgment
- Redirecting clients during trauma narratives
- Offering simple reframing and grounding techniques
- Using mindfulness cues (like 5-4-3-2-1)
- Applying MI-style reflections and curiosity
- Knowing your limits and asking for support when needed
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Hold an active LMHCA license in Washington State
- Have experience in counseling, SUD treatment, or hold an SUDP-T certification (preferred)
- Are confident working independently in a high-intensity, ever-changing environment
- Have strong skills in emotional regulation, crisis response, and boundary setting
- Practice trauma-informed, culturally competent care
- Are especially attuned to the needs of Veterans and Native/Tribal communities
