Job Duties
- Develop, own, and lead the business plan for the AHF flooring product categories at The Home Depot.
- Execute annual programs for flooring products under both AHF core national brands and private label brands at The Home Depot by working in close collaboration with product development teams.
- Monitor overall account performance, identify opportunities and challenges, and develop appropriate action plans.
- Manage all gross-to-net components cross-functionally with our finance, customer service and A/R to ensure core business components are accurately accounted for in the P&L, including returns rates, claims and rebates.
- Proactively lead problem solving efforts via logical and persuasive communications while pursuing “win-win” solutions.
- Collaborate with various AHF cross functional teams, including product management, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, finance, accounting and customer service to meet account performance objectives and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Achieve assigned KPI’s for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
- Closely collaborate with The Home Depot and AHF operations/supply management departments to provide accurate sales forecasting
- Facilitates ‘voice of the customer’ to ensure customer needs are being met by all internal stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3-5 years of strategic sales experience managing high profile major retail accounts within the building products industry.
- Flooring background preferred
- Experience selling to or supporting Home Depot or like-sized business.
- College degree
- Building products category experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success developing and growing sales within large retail accounts.
