The Fabricator for the Special Project Safety Punch List is responsible for completing assigned fabrication, repair, and safety-related tasks during nighttime operations. This role ensures all work meets safety compliance standards, supports project deadlines, and maintains high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Job Duties
- Perform metal fabrication, cutting, welding, grinding, and assembly based on project requirements.
- Complete tasks outlined in the Safety Punch List with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company procedures during nighttime operations.
- Inspect fabricated components to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as welders, torches, grinders, presses, saws, and related tools.
- Document completed work and communicate progress or safety concerns to leadership.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in fabrication, welding, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and hazard awareness.
- Ability to work independently during nighttime hours with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and tools as required.
