Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support State License - Copy of Professional License NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) Job Details Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 : 00-4 : 30. No weekends. For holidays, we are open Xmas eve, but closed Xmas day. We are open New Years Eve, but closed New Years day. MLK we are closed. Presidents Day we are open. Adventist Medical Group seeks to hire an experienced Registered Echo Technologist for our Cardiovascular Specialty office in Silver Spring, MD who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Will float between White Oak Medical Center Pavilion, AHC Rockville, Germantown and Silver Spring. As a Registered Echo Tech you will : Receives physicians order for inpatient and outpatients. Reviews electronic medical record for pertinent history. Prepares patients for procedure, considering their physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs. Follows proper procedure for transport of patients when applicable. Provide patient care in a safe and compassionate manner. Performs echocardiograms for pediatric and adult patients according to protocol. Perform studies to ICAEL standard, department policy and procedure, and ACC / AHC standards. Examines the heart from the appropriate echo views assessing wall motion, valve function, chamber size, and any abnormalities seen, notify cardiologist of any critical results. Assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. Notify biomed of all equipment malfunctions. Notify supervisor of equipment and malfunctions. Assure that all patient charges can be accurately completed. Confirm that there is a correct order for all studies done. Assists with stress test and EKGs if needed. Job Requirements High School Diploma / GED required; Associates Degree preferred Graduate of an accredited cardiac ultrasound program preferred 1-2 year scanning experience preferred RDMS or CCI certification Additional Details Proof of I9 or Attestation Government issued photo ID required. Photo Identification must be carried on person during hours of service to client. Proof of Everify or Attestation Please require if nurse is working on a compact license
