⚙️ Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments in accordance with plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Observe, record, and report resident conditions, reactions, and responses
- Maintain daily treatment records and progress notes
- Assist in consultations with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Support the care of the therapy department's equipment
- Participate in in-service programs and departmental/facility meetings
- Access continuing education opportunities to maintain clinical competency
- Act in compliance with company and facility policies, regulatory standards, and quality improvement programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Understand payer reimbursement and allocate therapy resources efficiently.
- Support the company’s mission and maintain a professional image
- Independently perform duties while recognizing situations requiring supervision
- Maintain expected productivity levels
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current license or eligible under state statutes
- BLS/CPR certification (current or obtained during orientation)
- Strong observation, communication, and teamwork skills
