In this role, you will design and build scalable, secure web applications while mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll work in an Agile environment where your full-stack expertise—from modern frontend frameworks to robust backend APIs—directly impacts the success of high-stakes projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software design, development, testing, and implementation within an Agile software development environment, with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing modern web applications using one or more front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.js.
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs using Java/J2EE (Spring Boot preferred) or Node.js/Express.js.
- Experience working with relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL, including database design, optimization, and SQL development.
- Proficiency with source code management tools such as GitLab or GitHub, including branching, merging, and pull request workflows.
- Working knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization using Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, including JWT (JSON Web Tokens) and OAuth/OpenID Connect concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications across the full technology stack.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar automation tools.
- Experience designing and developing applications using microservices architecture and familiarity with service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Experience with Java Server Faces (JSF) application development and maintenance.
- Experience integrating enterprise identity management solutions such as Okta.
- Knowledge of enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS) and content integration.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Understanding of automated testing frameworks and quality assurance best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile team environment with developers, architects, business analysts, QA, and stakeholders.
