Laundry Aide Position Summary
As a Laundry Aide at Wexford House, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:
- Follow all cleaning schedules, completing daily assignments.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation always adhering to infection control policies.
- Perform laundry tasks (counting linens, delivering to units, sanitizing work areas, operating washer, and dryers, etc.).
- Assist with room readiness for admissions and/or room changes.
- Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator, Environmental Services Director, or Regional Director of Maintenance.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
- High School diploma or GED
- Long-term care or applicable experience preferred
