Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism upon arrival, establishing a positive first impression
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements
• Coordinate guest seating plans to optimize table turnover while maintaining a welcoming environment
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or reservation details
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and accommodate seating preferences to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a tidy and inviting space
• Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow and guest experience

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a lively environment
• Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including reservation management and guest relations techniques
• Excellent phone etiquette and hospitality skills to handle guest inquiries professionally
• Background in food service or hotel industry is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with guest services and hospitality standards
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor
