The Job
Operates standard forming winding compliment to produce continuous product while auditing & notifying appropriate personnel of any quality & or equipment problems.

Do these responsibilities describe what you do best?
- Performs proper scanning procedure(s) while operating winding machine compliment.
- Inspects doff tubes and handles any occurrences (including but not limited to, breaks, call-downs, package build, etc.).
- Places tubes on to the forming tube carrier per nomenclature and tube color.
- Audits and notifies appropriate personnel of any quality and / or equipment problems, writes and follows up.
- Operates computer utilizes various software programs to accomplish goals (including but not limited to process audits, maintenance requests, MES, etc.).
- Acts as a team member and cooperates with Fiber Operator to achieve maximum efficiency (including but not limited to controlling down time, yardage, safety, quality, run ability, etc.).
- Visually inspects, adjusts and replaces spirals and quick disconnect pull rolls.
- Performs in line package weighing for yardage control.
- Procures packing material from designated surge area. Visually inspects and ensures proper weight and packs (including but not limited to shippable forming packages, wet chop, etc.).
- Operates material handling devices (including but not limited to floor jacks, overhead lifts, etc.).
- Participates in the safety and good housekeeping programs as established within the plant
- Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by Management.
Misc:
*Schedule is 12-hour rotating shifts
*Ability to stand for 12 hours
*Ability to lift 25 pounds, twist, bend and lift overhead on a consistent basis throughout the shift

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment at least 1 year.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand for 12 hours a day.
- Learn quickly under fast paced production environment.
- Ability to work swing shift.
- Must be able to pass Work Keys Testing - (Workplace Observation 2 or higher, Workplace documentation 4 or higher, Graphic Literacy 4 or higher).
