Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of construction site protocols. This role requires proficiency in operating various types of machinery, including but not limited to excavators, dozers, and concrete mixers. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, cranes, and concrete mixers on construction sites.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate operations and adhere to project timelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of construction sites as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on construction environments.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred for operating transport vehicles.
- Familiarity with various types of equipment including Caterpillar machinery, backhoes, tankers, farm machinery, and other heavy-duty vehicles.
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to construction site operations.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
