Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Drivers to join our team, servicing the Southeast US region. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while managing your own vehicle. As an Owner Operator, you will have the flexibility to choose your routes and schedules, allowing for a work-life balance that suits your needs. Your expertise in various types of freight transport will be crucial to our operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain your own truck, ensuring it meets all safety and regulatory standards.
• Transport freight using various types of trailers including dry van, intermodal chassis, flatbed, and refrigerated trailers.
• Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries to ensure client satisfaction.

• Tractor-trailer: 2 years (Required)

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

• Must have a valid CDL-A license and current DOT physical
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL truck driver, in the last 5 years
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 36 months
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Must be able to lift and move freight as needed

Skills:

• Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving techniques.
• Familiarity with operating different types of trucks including dry van, intermodal chassis, flatbed, and refrigerated trailers.
• Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills for managing schedules and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and dispatch teams.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
