Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and skilled, bi-lingual Irrigation Technician with a minimum of 5 years experience and a valid drivers license to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems in various landscapes and gardens. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' outdoor spaces remain lush and healthy through effective water management.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, including drip systems, sprinkler systems, 2 wire systems and other watering solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages.
- Repair and replace damaged components of irrigation systems as needed.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to dig trenches, build irrigation setups, and perform necessary installations.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure optimal watering schedules for gardens and lawns.
- Provide recommendations for efficient water usage and landscape care to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on irrigation systems.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to the installation and repair of irrigation systems.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in landscape maintenance and lawn care practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
