Databricks Lakehouse Enterprise Data Architect and Modeler

We are looking for a seasoned Data Architect and Modeler to lead enterprise data transformation initiatives using Databricks Lakehouse and Medallion architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, data modeling, and data modernization, with hands-on experience migrating legacy data warehouses to the cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, model, and optimize data structures on the Databricks Lakehouse platform.

• Design and implement 3-layer Medallion architectures (bronze, silver, gold).

• Drive data governance, metadata, and lineage initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data strategy and roadmap.

• Utilize GenAI tools for documentation and data model automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 12 years in data management / engineering / science, with 7 years in enterprise data modeling.

• 5 years of programming experience (Python, Java).

• 3 years working with SQL/NoSQL databases.

• 3 years with data structures and algorithms.

• Proven success in DW migration and data architecture modernization.

• Experience with AI/ML and predictive analytics (preferred).
