Job Description Summary
Responsible for the cross selling and scheduling of spa appointments, guest check-in and out, retail transactions, group coordination, inventory maintenance, spa locker duties and provide clerical responsibility in support of Spa Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
- Cleans display cases, shelves and other areas containing retail. Perform duties related to replenishment and stocking of inventory.
- Sets up advertisement signs and displays merchandise on shelves, counters or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
- Encourage retail sells by approaching customers assisting them with their needs and suggesting items that may go together as a package for up selling purposes and total guest satisfaction.
- Utilize proper procedures and documentation for all transactions.
- Ensures bank is counted and balanced with Cage.
- Packs customers purchases in bags or cartons.
- Assists with and performs reservations, check in and check out of Spa guests.
- Assists with back bar inventory as needed.
- Take orders over the phone and mail via UPS adding shipping charges to bill amount and charging credit cards appropriately
- Perform duties and follow all procedures related to the opening and closing of the retail shop.
- May be scheduled in any retail area assisting department manager covering worker absences.
- Scheduling services for guests with accuracy and consistency.
- Efficiently, accurately and professionally check-in guest.
- Provide information about spa services, activities and facilities. Be familiar with the various types of treatments offered, including treatment benefits
- Assist with common areas to maintain them for guest quality assurance.
- Cover and assist with the locker facility and fitness center.
- Contact and connect with spa and group sales groups.
- Provide excellent guest service to both guest and internal clients.
- Must comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.

Required Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 year experience in Spa, cashiering and guest services.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills required.
- Must be able to effectively perform multiple tasks at once.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully, the individual must me able to stand, move and work throughout the office and retail shops, basement, and various areas of the properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
