Job Description Summary
Responsible for developing and sustaining quality working relationships with all guests through marketing, personal invitations and private functions. Manages the Player Development personnel to ensure customers receive a positive casino experience by providing them with outstanding individualized service.
Education, Experience and Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a player development manager or casino marketing manager and/or equivalent combination of 10 years progressive gaming experience .
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
- Ability to organize and present information in a meaningful manner.
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests. Must possess excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
- Identify and cultivate premium players with emphasis on developing relationships with VIP Guests and/or Players.
- Responsible for managing and increasing rated play.
- Creates and implements player development programs consistent with property goals.
- Establishes and maintains goodwill, relationships, utilize contact strategy through a variety of in-bound and out-bound channels; handles and resolves problems, questions, and/or concerns of targeted VIP Guests and/or Players.
- Promotes special events with individuals or targeted groups, represents department management at these events and/or promotions with applicable follow-up.
- Works closely with Casino Hosts and assists in evaluating the Casino Hosts comp reports and ongoing performance.
- Responsible for the management and development of Casino Hosts’ performance based upon established procedures.
- Maintain a high level of visibility throughout the facility during the majority of the shift.
- Performs other incidentals and related duties as approved, required and/or assigned by the Executive Director of Player Development.
- Complies with all applicable Tribal regulations, internal controls and policies and procedures. Documents and reports all exceptions/variations/deviations immediately upon awareness.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
