Site Attendant (Full Time)

Job Description Summary

Performs cleaning of the surrounding outdoor areas using specialized or skilled cleaning equipment (i.e. street scrubber / sweeper, pressure washer, utility carts, leaf blower, pallet jacks). May be responsible with training duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Operates sweeping vehicle that cleans parking lots, garage and nearby areas.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle / equipment.
• Ensures vehicle / equipment is operating correctly. Reports to Supervisor any concerns.
• Removes litter from parking lots and nearby areas.
• Sand removal from public areas.
• Wash, clean and vacuum EVS Equipment
• Tours outside premises daily and identifies and reports any items requiring Facilities services.
• Assists in other EVS areas as needed.
• Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and safety meetings as required by Casino.
• Understands and practices operating best practices.
• Completes all work logs designated by the EVS department.
• Immediately notifies Supervisor of any accidents, incidents, injuries, property damage.
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external guests.
• Must comply with all applicable EVS Standard Operating Procedures.
• Must comply with all applicable ACCRM System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Must be able to operate light to medium duty landscape equipment, I.E. yard tractor, heavy duty landscape vacuum, gas powered blower.
• Work in conjunction with the landscape crew, for debris removal in all parking locations.

Education and/or Experience

• Must be able to communicate in English. 
• 3 years of custodial experience including experience with specialized cleaning equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license from the state of California. 
• Acceptable driving record

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs, driving continuously, shoveling / cleaning of sweeper hopper, and working outside. Must be able to work in a smoke- filled environment.

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate depending on outside environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
