AgState is seeking a Location Leader (Agronomy & Grain Operations Manager) to oversee the daily operations, team development, customer experience, and financial performance of one of our grain and agronomy locations. As a Location Leader, you'll be responsible for guiding a team, supporting customer relationships, managing operational excellence, and ensuring the location operates safely, efficiently, and profitably.

What You'll Do
Lead and Develop Your Team
- Coach, mentor, and support employees to achieve individual and team success
- Foster a positive, engaged, and safety-focused workplace culture
- Address employee relations matters effectively and professionally
- Ensure employees receive the training and resources needed to perform at a high level
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments
Drive Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily grain, agronomy, office, and operational activities
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workload priorities
- Ensure facilities, equipment, and operations meet company, regulatory, and safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels, product quality, and operational efficiency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional facility
Serve Customers and Grow Relationships
- Build strong relationships with producers and customers
- Assist in resolving complex customer concerns and service needs
- Support customer success through operational excellence and responsive service
- Partner with agronomy, grain, and operations teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Manage Business Performance
- Develop and manage annual budgets
- Monitor financial performance and key operational metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and service levels
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and standards are consistently followed

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred
- Five or more years of related agriculture, operations, or leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing people, operations, budgets, and customer relationships
- Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Chemical Handler's License, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Agronomy, grain, and cooperative experience preferred
