Trans Ova Genetics, a leader in advanced reproductive technologies, is seeking a part time IVF Lab Tech Assistant to support our team in Fort Scott, KS. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced embryologists in a role that helps support the future of the livestock industry through innovative reproductive science.
As an IVF Lab Tech Assistant, your core responsibility will be stripping embryos, which is a delicate, time-sensitive procedure that requires excellent focus, fine motor skills, and adherence to strict protocols in a sterile lab setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform embryo stripping, evaluation, grading, freezing, and fertilization procedures
- Prepare and manage fertilization and culture plates
- Search for, grade, and mature oocytes
- Handle and prepare semen for IVF procedures
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping, data entry, and quality control documentation
- Assist with laboratory cleanliness, protocol compliance, and quality standards
- Manage supply inventory and general lab organization Drive company vehicle to pick up and deliver laboratory specimens as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior hands-on laboratory experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of the cattle industry preferred but not required
- Strong hand‑eye coordination and fine motor skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently within defined time frames
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a microscope in a lab setting
