We’re looking for a Junior Interior Designer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in interior design. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with a natural eye for design and a strong ability to support all phases of the design process.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead designer in developing design concepts, space planning, and presentations.
- Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and elevations in AutoCAD.
- Create 3D visualizations and renderings in SketchUp.
- Source and coordinate FF&E selections and materials.
- Maintain and organize project documentation, specifications, and schedules.
- Communicate with vendors, contractors, and clients as needed.
- Contribute to the creative process and help bring projects from design to installation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an interior design studio or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Strong sense of initiative — able to anticipate needs and take ownership of tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of FF&E sourcing, construction documents, and design presentations.
- Fluent in English & Spanish
Nice to Have
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Familiarity with project management tools.
- Interest in modern, warm, and sophisticated design aesthetics.
