We are looking for an Accounting Coordinator in Hull, Iowa. The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the integrity of costs in the various computer systems used by the company. The person in this position must be exceptionally organized and work closely with other departments (Purchasing/Master Files/Manufacturing Finance).

We are looking for an Accounting Coordinator in Hull, Iowa. The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the integrity of costs in the various computer systems used by the company. The person in this position must be exceptionally organized and work closely with other departments (Purchasing/Master Files/Manufacturing Finance).
- Reconciliation of daily milk receipt pounds and components.
- Load the milk components into SAP.
- Milk Balancing Intercompany and Outside Companies.
- Milk payment reconciliation.
- Cream/Whey/Skim Solids Reconciliation and Settling.
- Other reporting necessary to the USDA or other regulatory agencies.
- Other duties as defined by the Plant Controller.
- Calculate weekly number of UF Milk, Sweet and Whey Cream load sales.
- Communicate weekly with customers for UF Milk sales and schedule all load out times.
- Direct transportation for all Sweet, Whey and UF Milk sales.
- Contact each customer, balancing weights and testing all sweet and whey cream loads sold.
- Manage daily milk loads and communicate the milk pounds delivered by each supplier.
- Compute milk pounds with suppliers twice per month.
- Confirm milk invoices for correct pounds/pricing and submit for payment.
- Participate in weekly milk calls.
- Work with milk haulers or producers on any discrepancies of the producers’ daily delivered milk pounds.
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in accounting or related field required.
- Knowledge of general accounting application and theory required.
- ERP system experience preferred.
