Description Position: Agronomy Sales Internship - Summer 2026
Location: St. Johns, MI
Travel Requirements: 50%
This intern position offers practical applications focused in agricultural sales. It will be a good learning opportunity for a student desiring to work in the agriculture industry after graduation.
Key Responsibilities:
6 weeks travel within the country
Day trips with local retail partners
Day trips to NCRS to experience planting, sidedress, foliar, and harvest
Day trip to NCRS to scout with the research team
Track price indexing information
Assist with AgroExpo administration if needed
Work with marketing on development of social medial campaigns
Help with farm show logistics as needed
Document with images, videos or testimonials field experiences
Collect data to be used in PowerPoint presentations or training programs.
What we’re looking for:
Second or third year internship opportunity
Enrolled in agriculture business or agronomy focused program
Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time, including outside of the state of MI
Great attitude
A desire to learn more about agronomic principles, sales and marketing.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Great attitude
Ability to stand; sit; lift; squat; stoop and move up to 50 lbs.
