Position Overview
We are seeking a Dairy Equipment Sales Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and providing technical support and equipment solutions to dairy farmers. This position requires sales expertise, industry knowledge, and a hands-on approach to customer service and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and engage with dairy farmers, farm managers, and agribusiness professionals to promote our dairy equipment and sanitation solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Conduct on-farm consultations to assess customer needs and provide tailored equipment recommendations.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive customer engagement and business development.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain blending and dispensing equipment at customer locations.
- Perform wash analysis and barn audits to optimize milk quality and farm efficiency.
- Provide basic training and support to customers on proper dairy hygiene and equipment operation.
- Assist with light delivery as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience in the dairy, agricultural, or farm equipment industry (preferred).
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of dairy hygiene, milking equipment, and farm sanitation solutions is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
