Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pile Driver to join our construction team and contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty equipment to drive piles that support foundations for bridges, buildings, and other structures. Your expertise in rigging, materials handling, and heavy equipment operation will be essential to ensure safe, efficient, and precise installation of piles. Responsibilities
- Operate pile driving machinery along with auxiliary equipment such as cranes, excavators, backhoes, forklifts, boom trucks, and other heavy machinery to install foundation piles accurately.
- Rig and secure materials and equipment using appropriate techniques to ensure safety and stability during operations.
- Handle materials efficiently within construction sites or warehouse environments, including loading, unloading, and organizing supplies for ongoing projects.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before use, perform basic maintenance tasks, and report any issues promptly to maintain operational safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers, crane operators, riggers, and other team members to coordinate tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities as needed, ensuring proper documentation and handling of materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as cranes, excavators, backhoes, forklifts, boom trucks, or similar machinery on construction sites.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Skilled in rigging techniques and materials handling procedures to ensure safe lifting and placement of loads.
- Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety standards and protocols.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
