Job Duties:
- Perform daily scans of stock outs and creates lists of items to be pulled from overstock or incoming freight.
- Track the quantity of items in stock by completing required audits and reports.
- Perform overstock and shelf location audits
- Accurately and timely update inventory databases to ensure data accuracy within the store.
- Pull from overstock and incoming freight to stock and fill shelves on the sales floor
- Adjust item locations in the store and the database as needed for inventory management.
- Perform spot counts of items and corrects inventory as needed
- Review and corrects items that have a negative on-hand inventory
- Spot check the sales floor for discontinued items, process tag removals and database updates as needed.
- Conduct routine cycle counts including top performing items as assigned by management.
- Any and all other duties assigned by management
Qualifications for the position:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years of previous retail or inventory experience
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong mathematical aptitude. Ability to add, subtract and divide quickly.
- Team player with ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Detail oriented and high personal standards for quality of work
- Agricultural background either through schooling or personal experience a plus
Physical Expectations:
During the job, employees are regularly required to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods, use their hands to handle or control objects, and perform tasks that involve reaching, climbing, kneeling, or crouching. The role involves frequently lifting or moving up to 25 pounds, with occasional requirements to handle more with assistance or equipment. Employees must also be able to push and pull using various equipment. Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, are necessary. Verbal communication and the ability to hear are also required for safety and coordination.
