Pay: $90,000 - $140,000 per year DOE
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the Water Well Department which may include managing 1-5 employees, ordering inventory for jobs, overseeing customer communications and relations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Manage Employees
- Interview, hire and train any new employee as approved by the Location Manager
- Offer continued training for existing department employees
- Oversee all Water Well Department activities to assure employees give quality customer service
- Train and oversee employees safety on all jobs
- Schedule work for field crews
- Approve employee timecards
- Customer Service
- Communicate with customer via phone or in person to discuss new systems or maintenance of existing systems
- Provide estimates as needed
- Coordinate with the Parts Department to assure the required parts are on hand or ordered as needed
- Expand customer base by additional advertising or old calls, etc.
- Follow up with customers after service is completed to assure everything is completed satisfactorily. If not, determine job needs and finalize
- Monitor jobs which have limited pre-payment/credit
- Invoicing
- Prepare work orders for customers; work with receptionist for processing in Google Documents and Acumatica
- Review In-Process invoices regularly and follow up on missing items so they are completed in a timely manner
- Refer credit customers to Accounts Receivable (AR) for credit approval prior to start of job
- Prepare and verify all Material Lists per job
- Review and approve all completed sales invoices for Work Orders and/or Job Orders
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday and Saturdays as needed

- Show respect to all customers and employees
- Communication: 24 hour turn around on all emails, text messages or phone call responses
Minimum Qualifications(Experience/Education):
Water Well Division Manager must maintain a high level of competency in materials stocked and sold. The manager must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience managing water well jobs and 3-5 years' experience managing people. Manager must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Must have some experience operating accounting software, a minimal understanding of office equipment and computer operations as well as troubleshooting capabilities.
