Cannabis Packaging (Pre-Roll Technician) - Evening Shift

Job Summary

As a Pre-Roll Technician at Agri-Genesis, you will help drive daily operations in our pre-roll manufacturing—ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality production. You’ll operate machinery or perform manual tasks, maintain strict adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements, and work within a collaborative, detail-oriented environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform pre-roll production tasks:
• Load materials, grind, weigh, and hand-roll or machine-fill pre-rolls.
• Fold, pack, label, and tube pre-rolls ready for packaging and shipment
• Operate, clean, and perform basic maintenance or troubleshooting of pre-roll machinery.
• Adhere to Agri-Genesis’s SOPs, health & safety standards, and state regulations (including METRC tracking/documentation).
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure consistency in weight, size, and overall product integrity.
• Document production metrics—weights, counts, waste, and compliance records—accurately and promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas, including equipment and tools, at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-train in adjacent departments when needed (e.g., trimming, packaging, post-harvest).
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements, and report any production or quality issues to supervisors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be 21 years old and possess a valid Missouri cannabis agent ID/license.

• Experience: Previous experience in cannabis production is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with manufacturing or packaging environments is valuable.

• Demonstrated attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.

• Strong time-management, reliability, and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to lift up to ~50 lbs (with assistance if needed); capable of standing, bending, and performing other physical tasks during shifts.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, or kneeling.

• Must handle repetitive tasks with precision; good hand-eye coordination required.

• Wear appropriate PPE (e.g., gloves, hair covering, possibly cleanroom/lint-free attire as required).

• Work may include varying shifts, including weekends or nights when production demands require.
