The successful candidate will serve as a central point of contact for both internal and external communication regarding our trucking operation.
Job Responsibilities
- Answering and responding to inbound calls from company drivers
- Handling inbound and outbound customer phone calls as needed
- Manage and coordinate resources, ensuring efficient and effective responses
- Receiving and relaying information to field personnel
- Daily monitoring of all company trucking routes in multiple terminals
- Updating information systems to accurately reflect dispatched tasks
- Coordinating with operations team to perform emergency roll-off and trailer services
- Coordinating inbound load schedule with Long Haul Team
- Gathering documentation of completed services and seeing-through to final billing
- Interfacing with terminal managers & office staff on day-to-day issues.
- Scheduling & coordinating deliveries and shipments of various customer supplies
- Manage records of material inventory at customer sites and internal warehousing
Requirements
- Experience and proficiency in standard logistics software.
- Prior experience in a trucking dispatch role preferred
- Emphasis on customer service.
- Time management skills.
- Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers & employees
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
