What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/HR Coordinator position at AgReserves, Inc.?
Summary:
Treasure Valley Farms is seeking a results-driven and collaborative Shipping Coordinator to help organize the movement of product which would include consumable goods (bags, cartons, netting, etc.) to finished goods (work-in-process, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the floor inventory is accounted for and inventory data is sent to Pack and Processing Management to review needs for daily consumption.
- Daily interaction with third party trucking operations in order to coordinate shipment of finished goods.
- Schedule appointments, driver pickups, checks in drivers, and follows up on missed pickups.
- Monitor packaging inventory on a weekly basis, perform inventory counts, and transfers upon request. Provide reports as needed.
- Receive and reconcile consumable goods.
- Accurately load correct product onto truck by referencing shipping documents.
- Verify pallet tags match shipping paperwork.
- Accurately load product onto truck using shipping documents; notify management of shortages or inconsistencies.
- Establish and maintain trusting relationships with third party trucking operations and personnel.
- Attend on-site safety trainings and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 2 years related experience with knowledge on truck loading.
- Valid driver’s license with forklift certification or ability to maintain operator’s license.
- Strong demonstrated interpersonal, team player, and communication skills. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new programs and systems including Excel and inventory software.
- Excellent time management, reporting, and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail.
- Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role which include lifting up to 50lbs.
