AgReserves, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fixed Asset Manager to join our corporate finance team!


Summary:


The Fixed Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate tracking, accounting, and reporting of the company's fixed assets. This role partners with local operations and corporate headquarters to maintain consistent asset reporting, support compliance with accounting standards, and manage the asset lifecycle from acquisition through disposal.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure asset records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Review and approve fixed asset journal entries, transactions, reconciliations, and related balance sheet accounts to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Manage capitalization, transfer, depreciation, impairment, and disposal of fixed assets.
  • Coordinate periodic physical inventory counts and investigate and resolve asset discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external audit requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain fixed asset policies, procedures, and process improvements.
  • Partner with procurement, operations, IT, facilities, and finance teams to track asset activity and support accurate reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reports, including asset movements, depreciation expense, and capital expenditures.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to capital investments and depreciation.
  • Provide training and guidance to accounting and controllership teams on fixed asset processes, systems, and approved initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and analysis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Five years of accounting experience, including fixed asset accounting and reporting.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience with ERP and fixed asset management systems.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work across functions, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligible candidate must be willing and able to work on-site at the SLC corporate office during standard business hours.

Salary : $84,750 - $127,125
